Analysis on the Related Factors to Professionalism of Hospital Administrative Staffs

Abstract

The purpose of this study was analyzed the factors related to Professionalism of Hospital Administrative Staffs. The data was collected for 2 weeks form Feb. 3 to 15, 2014. Among a total of 194 cases of questionaries, only 188 cases were used. To data were analyzed by factor analysis, frequency, t-test, ANOVA using SPSS 20.0.
In the factors related to Professionalism, demographic characteristics were gender, age, education level, showed statistically significant difference, job characteristics were Career, with or without license, institutional characteristics were institution type, showed statistically significant difference.
Hereafter, medical institutions will need to find specific strategy and fulfill it to develop professionalism of hospital administrative staff after considering not only the characteristic of each staff but the characteristic of medical institutions and office environment.
